The Fielding ADU Thousand Oaks Guarantee
Here’s what our guarantee means in plain terms: every addition, garage conversion, and ADU we build in Thousand Oaks is covered in writing for 365 days from completion. If something we built fails inside that year, we come back and fix it at no charge. No deductible, no arguing, no “that’s normal settling.” The Garrison Standard has been our operating rule since 2006, and it runs on five things we can actually check off: show up in the window we promised, price in writing before work starts, build by the book, leave the site clean, and stand behind the work for a full year. Reed Calloway, Owner, signs off on that standard for every job.
What’s Covered

The one-year guarantee is spelled out on paper before we ever break ground. Here’s exactly what it covers:
- Workmanship defects. If a wall cracks, a door binds, a seam opens, or a finish fails because of how we built it, that’s on us. We return, correct it, and you pay nothing.
- Parts and materials we supplied. If a product we installed fails inside the warranty year, we handle the replacement and the labor to put it right.
- Written price, no surprises. The number you approve on day one is the number on the final invoice. Change orders only happen if you ask for a change, and they go in writing with a price before the extra work starts.
- Cleanup, every day. We don’t leave a job site looking like a war zone overnight. Debris is managed daily, and the final cleanup is part of the contract, not an extra.
- On-time arrival, in the window we gave you. If we say 7:00, we’re there at 7:00. Not 7:20. Reed runs crews that respect your schedule.
- Who’s on your property. Every person on our Thousand Oaks job sites is background-checked and wears a Fielding ADU uniform. You’ll know exactly who belongs there.
What’s not covered: normal wear and tear, damage from homeowner misuse, and anything you changed yourself after we handed the project over. The paperwork says this in clear sentences, not fine print.
Our Satisfaction Promise
If something isn’t right and you’re not satisfied with how it came out, the process is simple. Call us at (805) 309-3020. A live person answers: noon or midnight, it doesn’t matter. You tell us what’s wrong. We schedule a walk-through. Reed or a senior project lead shows up, looks at the issue with you, and we agree on what “right” looks like. Then we do it.
There’s no escalation maze. No customer service ticket that disappears. The guarantee card you get at completion has the terms, the duration, and exactly how we make it right if something fails. If it’s inside the year and it’s our workmanship, the second visit is free. If you’re not sure whether something qualifies, call and ask. The worst that happens is we tell you honestly that it’s not covered, and we tell you what it would cost to fix anyway.
We build additions and ADUs in Thousand Oaks that are permitted, square, and finished on schedule. That’s the promise we make before the contract is signed, and the guarantee is the teeth behind it.
Licensed & Insured Backing

A warranty is only as good as the company standing behind it. Fielding ADU Thousand Oaks is licensed and insured, and that matters more than most homeowners realize. Licensing means the state has verified we meet the baseline for contractor work in California: we carry the required credentials, we follow code, we pull permits, and we’re accountable to a regulatory body if something goes sideways. Insurance means your property and the people working on it are protected if an accident happens on site.
Reed Calloway runs Fielding ADU as an independently owned and operated member of the Garrison Partners family, which has been building to The Garrison Standard since 2006. That’s nineteen years of standing behind finished work in Southern California. When you’re spending $120,000 to $400,000 on an ADU or garage conversion in Thousand Oaks, the guarantee isn’t a marketing line. It’s the reason you’ll sleep at night while the slab cures.
